Since our humble beginnings as a Mobile gas station in 1949, Lee's Service has been a trusted partner in the Reedley and Fresno communities, known for unmatched expertise and exceptional customer service. The 1950s: Growth and Expansion
In 1951, Ben Huebert joined forces with Charles Lee, and together they expanded the business by adding a retread shop and new tire sales to meet the community’s growing needs. Lee’s Service was quickly becoming a local favorite for its dedication to quality. By 1959, the business had outgrown its original location. That year, Lee's Service broke ground at 1445 I Street in Reedley, which would become its new home. The same year, Ed Mock came on board, bringing with him a full-service mechanical repair bay. Partners Charles, Ed, and Ben worked tirelessly, leading the business through significant growth while staying true to the core values of hard work and exceptional customer service.


The 1960s: New Products and Partnerships
In 1969, Lee’s Service was proud to introduce a new product line—Firestone rear tractor tires. Owners Ben Huebert and Ed Mock stood proudly by their latest offering, a testament to their continued efforts to meet the changing needs of the community. From their beginnings in tire sales and repairs, the business was now offering full mechanical services and expanding its product range.


The Late 1990s: Three Generations of Excellence
As Lee's Service approached its 50th anniversary in the late 1990s, the business remained a family affair. Following the retirement of Charles Lee and Ed Mock in the early 1970s, Ben’s son Robert joined the team in the 1980s. By the late 1990s, Robert's son, Sam, also became part of the family business, making Lee's Service a three-generation operation. Ben, Robert, and Sam worked together to maintain the legacy of unmatched expertise and a relentless focus on customer service that continues to define Lee's Service.


Present Day: The Legacy Continues
From our start as a small gas station in 1949 to becoming a trusted leader in tire and auto service, Lee’s Service has been through many changes. While team members have come and gone, our focus has remained the same: providing the community with exceptional service and unmatched expertise.
